Yesterday was a pretty good day. Pretty much just took care of things at home.Wren is starting to look at his hands a little, and Scott saw him suck on his foot the other day! I fed him some more rice cereal yesterday while he was a little more awake and he seemed to enjoy himself. He really likes putting his bib in his mouth the most, I think. It rained yesterday and stormed overnight the night before. Wren woke up during it so I got to see the lightning and hear the thunder. I've heard this may be the end of really hot summer temperatures, which sounds good to me! The leaves are changing here already and it's starting to look beautiful. My mom is coming to visit this week. We found out last week that it takes about 12.5 hours to drive here from St. Louis without a lot of stops. Anyone up for a visit? :)

Hi Em! Wren is really getting big, but he's still adorable. I'm glad you're having fun and things are going well.
Funny to hear you write about cooling off weather - we're still in the heat of summer here in Texas. But don't get me wrong: I love it! It's been a high of around 90 for a week or so, and this is perfect for me. Fall? Who needs it!
Funny, too, that we're about 12.5 hours from STL - meaning we're a full day's drive from each other. Phew - quite a distance. Still, I hope we can get together some time in the coming months - maybe at Kalamazoo?
