fall weather and new developments

Just today, Wren has been singing the Superman theme song, which he always does, but today it is discernible! I can tell that that's the song he's singing! It's amazing. He's starting to try to say some words and is making more conversational babble than he used to. It's really cool! He has been in a great mood this morning and that is fun. We took a walk in the windy cool weather and saw squirrels and saw leaves flying through the air. Wren imitated me doing the squirrel sign. He also did the "cold" sign today at lunch on his own initiative -- he was eating some fruit salad that had been in the fridge so it was colder than just the fruit chopped up. It was really cute.

Wren is going to be Superman for Halloween, in case you're wondering! He has some pajamas that will work perfectly. We also have a sound greeting card that plays the Superman theme song that we can use along with his costume. Thank you, Wolfe girls for sending Wren his Superman birthday card -- we are actually currently on the THIRD card because as you probably have experienced yourselves, the battery tends to wear out with repeated playing. :)
