muffin mess

This morning I held Wren in the sling and he helped me make muffins -- he was very interested in what we were doing with the mixing and breaking the eggs and putting the batter in the pans! We made rhubarb oat little mini loaves and mini muffins, and banana chocolate chip muffins and mini muffins. Wren enjoyed eating the rhubarb right out of the oven. MmmmMMMmmm. 

I also had to document the huge mess we made in the kitchen while making these. Wren has many items to play with on the bottom of the pantry, and recently he's been able to reach the entire bottom shelf, too, so I've had a little shifting around to do. I think Wren likes to move things around in the kitchen alongside me.
