just some things

Hello. I haven't been writing a lot lately because I feel like I don't have a lot to say, even though there's a lot going on! We've just been busy with everyday stuff, plus hanging out with friends, plus doing house-type errands and making house-type decisions. Wren has been a lot of fun lately, on the move and exploring his home. He plays with some toys, but is mostly enjoying crawling after Lacey, opening and closing any kind of door, pulling up on different things. He is working on his second tooth now; we think it will be in by tomorrow. He's been generally pretty happy throughout this teething, but waking up some, maybe from teething or from the start of wanting to make sure we're around, or we don't know why. He loves eating Cheerios but really isn't into picking up other little bits of food yet. He'll eat the chicken, fruits or veggies I put in his mouth, but he just wants to pick up and put Cheerios in his mouth! And he likes bigger things -- rice cakes and toast and teething biscuits. He loves to offer them to us, then laughs when we pretend to eat them too. It's very cute! We joined the Y to get some exercise, and have been going a little bit. We've been watching the Australian Open this week -- wow! Lots of great tennis. Unbelievable tennis! And I'm thinking about paint colors and window treatments, hmmm. It will be fun to have some actual colors! If you've been renting for a while like we have, you know what I mean. What have you been up to? Write us a letter or give us a call or write an email. We are here.

It sounds like things are going great for you guys. Good luck with all the work you're doing on the house, and the exercising! You are more ambitious than I....

Hi Scott and Em! I love the picture of Wren looking up-- he is such a little man! Your house looks beautiful. Congratulations. Painting in colors is so much fun! I hope you are going with Rainbow brights. =)

Going to SUNY tomorrow, so wish me some calm, OK?

Love,
Jules
