scott's graduation info

Hey, that's not Scott! It's me! (Last year I graduated with my Master's in Library Science from IUPUI).

On Saturday, May 19, 2007, Scott will graduate with his Ph.D. in English from Notre Dame! Hooray! If you would like to help celebrate (and meet new baby Smith!), please let us know! We have an extra hotel room booked for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights (Friday, May 18-Tuesday, May 22). It has a king size bed with a 2-person sofa bed. It is at a Quality Inn that is about 5 minutes away from our apartment and Notre Dame.

The graduate ceremony will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19. Unfortunately it looks like we will only get 2 or 3 tickets for people to attend the ceremony. They are showing it live on big screens for the people who don't have tickets, so we can all go to campus and then celebrate together at the reception.

As a side note, sometimes Scott's photo is on the graduation page on the top left! Different photos rotate in and out, and one is of him, his advisor, and our friend Jon! See my post below for the photo and caption (if you want to see it on the actual page, you have to keep clicking on "refresh" until the photo randomly appears).

Please let us know if you plan on using the hotel rooms! It's going to be an exciting time.
